This page is to provide information on technical issues or specific questions for contractors.
When you register your company to perform construction work within the City of Benbrook, your information is entered directly into the computer, therefore you are not required to fill out a form.
To register you will need to provide the following information, depending on the work you will be performing:
To perform new residential construction or remodeling, provide:
- The driver's license of the person who is the registered contractor with the State.
To perform commercial construction you are required to register your company and provide information on the person responsible for the construction.
On commercial remodeling you must provide information that an asbestos inspection was performed.
To perform electrical work, provide:
To perform plumbing work, provide:
- Your state master plumbing license.
- The driver's license of the responsible master plumber with the State.
To performing HVAC work, provide:
- Your state mechanical license.
- The driver's license of the person who is the licensed HVAC contractor with the State.
To perform any other type of construction requiring a permit within the City of Benbrook you will need to provide the driver's license of the responsible person representing themselves as a contractor. |
