Benbrook Lake - Inquiries regarding Benbrook Lake should be directed to the Army Corps of Engineers, as Benbrook Lake and the vast majority of the area adjoining Benbrook Lake (including Holiday Park) are owned, operated and managed by the Corps of Engineers. Dutch Branch Park - Dutch Branch Park is the Benbrook’s central, featured park facility. Amenities include three playgrounds including Castle and Robot playgrounds, a walking track, two lighted sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, multi-use courts, basketball goals, soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, duck pond, pavilions, concession stand, picnic areas with grills, and restrooms. Hike/Bike Trails - The Winscott Road Hike/Bike Trail connects Benbrook to the Trinity Trail system. Future plans include a comprehensive on-road and off-road network.
Senior Center – Located at 1010 Mercedes Street, the Benbrook Senior Center is open weekdays from 8 AM to 2 PM, except holidays. Activities include walking, exercise classes, games, crafts, health screenings, tax counseling, defensive driving classes, covered dish luncheons, lunch outings, day trips, game night, and dances. Tennis Courts - Lighted tennis courts are available on a first come, first serve basis. Tennis courts are located at both Dutch Branch Park and Timbercreek Park.
