Benbrook Heritage Fest “Cowboy Roundup” BBQ Cook-off & Trail Ride will take place Saturday, October 16, 2010 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Heritage Fest is a day of family fun including Arts & Crafts booths, festival food, a Kiddy Korral, an Indian Village, dance performances, a Mexican Village with authentic food & dancers live “Mariachi” music, radio control demonstrations by the Fort Worth Thunderbirds, plus an evening concert featuring Blue Grass Band “Salt Creek”. New this year - a BBQ Cook-off sponsored by the Benbrook Area Chamber Of Commerce and the Benbrook Stables Trail Ride Benefit. Proceeds from the BBQ Cook-off and the Trail Ride benefit the YMCA Step Up for Kids program. All festivities will take place at Dutch Branch Park and on the grounds of the Benbrook Stables, located at 10001 Benbrook Blvd. in Benbrook.
